Code of behavior
The primary goal of SBYC is to introduce youngsters to sailing and instil in them an enjoyment for the sport. Sailing is a high risk sport and safety is of highest concern. We therefore reserve the right to suspend any member (junior or senior) who does not respect the code of behavior established by the club Board and its coaches. We also reserve the right to refuse a junior sailor who is unable to pass the swim test.
Sailing also involves expensive equipment, and SBYC benefits from the the fine ground upon which the Clubhouse stands today. Consequently, all sailors are expected to treat the property, the equipment, and others with respect AT ALL TIMES.

Volunteer Days
All able bodied men and women are asked to participate and help lift all the docks and boats in-out of the water at season start and close. A minimum of two days is required per family. We rely on you, the members to help set-up and close down the camp each year. Thank you for your understanding.
