SBYC Membership, a Lake Memphremagog Tradition ​​

The Sargent’s Bay Yacht Club and the Lake Memphremagog community share a long history together. 
Founded in 1935, summer-after-summer families around the lake have enjoyed getting together for sailing and fun regattas, BBQs and social events at SBYC. 
Members are stewards of the lake and are active volunteers at club events. Membership is a valued way to help raise funding for the renewal of our club fleet. Members create friendships that last a lifetime.

BENEFITS:
As a family-friendly club, SBYC provides an ideal setting for those interested in organized weekend races – fun for kids, teens and adult sailors alike – as well as social gatherings and a summer camp. 
Enrolling as a club member gives you: 
1.    Weekly Club Newsletter to stay informed of our news and spotlight special events
2.    Federation Voile Quebec membership which ensures the sustainability of our sport; certifies our coaches training; and also includes:

• Updates on sailing events and news around Quebec
• L'Escale Nautique magazine subscription
• automatic coverage of accident insurance for boating incidents that occur anywhere in Canada
• Access to SBYC Clubs Studio Membership online platform

3.    Free participation and pickup/drop-off by boat to Sunday race days, offering the chance to win numerous, historical trophies *Bring Your Own Boat (BYOB) ** Get boat handling tips and tricks from our coaching staff
4.    Invitation to social activities, including:

• Welcome BBQ,  July 
• Labor Day Picnic & Prizegiving

SBYC Alumni, Parents and Friends Membership Fee
$200 annual fee per person (Kids under 8 years old welcome for free)
